How can I determine the gender of Pristella Tetras? Please help. I bought them yesterday, Saturday, and I think they will adapt very well to my tank. But that's another story. I am planning on breeding them, wither them or my Red Eyed Tetras, but I think I have two males.

Hi again Gabriel, do you have any spare tanks for the breeding? IMO, I would breed both You should have one tank for the Pristellas and one for the Red Eyeds. You can use some of the filter media from your established tank and place it in the spare tanks (if you have them) to kick in the cycle.

Thanks for that, but I first need to find out whose a male and female. They're like a little less than one inch... Its really hard and I'm not completely sure if you're supposed to look for the rounded bottom, like for the Red Eyed Tetra female. I'll take a picture.
