Is My Black Widow Pregnant

hi peeps ive kept tropical fish for over 2 yr now and ive never really ventured out and had a go at rearing any form of tetra or egg layer the only fish ive reared from being born are guppys platys mollys i was doing a water change yesterday when i noticed that my female black widow is on the large side this to me looks like she may be pregnant if she is i would like to have a go at rearing some of her fry but the problem ive got is what do i need for her to spawn in as i dont want any thing eating the eggs can some one help please

Egg layers don't get 'pregnant' as such - but she could be carrying eggs, or, like my Bleeding heart tetras often are, could be stuffed full of food!

Yeah. I agree with Blub, Black Widows are egglayers and it's impossible for them to get pregnant unless they're either filled with eggs or just a big fat fish!
