Hallo,

I have a 29 gal tank with 5 red eye tetra, I would like to get them some more friends to frolic along with and I have a few questions.

What are a few species of tetra that get on with the red eyes especially well, and should I buy a school to start or only a few?

Also, I am considering getting some ghost shrimp and mystery snails, would they be good tankmates with tetras?

Other tetras of the same size and shape will most likely school with them. Def. buy the school all at once.
the mystery snails will be fine with them. The ghost shrimp will be too big for them to eat but the tetras may pick at them until they die then eat them You may just have to try a few and see.
