hello experts, i have 30G tank. Currently with 6 zebra danios. Can you suggest me what tetra should i keep? I am thinking 3 neon, 3 rummynose and 3 cardinals. would they school together? or should i keep only 9 of just one kind?

I'm no expert, but I think neons and cardinals like to be in schools of six or more. Keeping just 3 of each kind is probably stressful to them.

I have 10 neons in my 29gal and love them. They spend time schooling together as well as exploring on their own.

neons and cardinals should school together no problem, same body type, same approximate size, similar color. however, the rummynose tetra's probably won't school with them, so i'd consider leaving them out or getting a full school of six. personally i would go with nine of the rummynose's, because they are some of my favorite tetras
