Different Tertra's ?

Hi, Wondering if you can help, we have 3 neons two cherry bulbs and 9 surpae tetra's... We have noticed that the neons and cherries have had their tales nipped, We have nothing else in the tank but these... we were under the impression that tetra's are not horrible fish... Could it be the supea's that are nipping them? I can't see what else it could be? Can anyone help?
Many thanks

Re: Different Tertra's ?

Ok thank you, well we do have another one which appeared in the bag when we brought them home last weekend, He was in with the surpea hes orange shaped like a neon the same size... Had a chance to keep an eye on them last night and this morning and noticed he was chasing them around... Without actually knowing what he is I cant advise but we have the surpea in a pack of 8 oh well sure we will work it out thanks.

Serpaes are probably establishing their dominance or territory. Hopefully they will lay off.
