not exactly a tetra

Well it isnt a tetra but i guess it's closest to a tetra since they school

i have 7 long fin leopard danios in my 29 gallon and wanted to know if they were compatible with 7 zebra danios

The Leopard Danio is believed to just be a color morph of a Zebra Danio. They should get along just fine together. They might even school together.
The Danio section is kind hard to find, but it's under Cyprinids.

Be aware that long fin (slower) may get bitten by others if not among themselves. Maybe not noticeable but could happen..

Danios can sometimes get nippy if not kept in a big enough school but 7 is a great school for them. I think its' a good idea to keep a eye on them but really I don't think you'll have any problems.
