Loosing Neon Tetras

i need a little help here, My tank consists of 1 Plec, 2 Silver Sharks, 2 Guppies, 1 Catfish, 1 ADF, 3 Large goldfish.....a week back I bought 5 neon tetras to go with the 5 that were already in the tank, an hour after putting the 5 new ones in 2 had vanished, I couldnt believe what i was seeing and ended up thinking the shop had only put 3 in the bag, but the following morning I got up and another 4 were missing, the next morning another 1 had gone along with the tail from one of the 3 I have left, anyway to put it sompler started with ten now have 3 minus one tail. who the eck is eating them coz I aint a clue and spent many an hour watching (even in the dark).

Could be the catfish, silver sharks, or african dwarf frog. It says in your aquarium info that your tank is only 4 weeks old...is it cycled? If the neons are dying because of toxins, any of you fish could be eating the remains. Also, goldfish need cooler water than the rest of your fish. How big is your tank?

Hi there the sharks are about 3 1/2 in long...catfish is about the same, but with in a slit second just now one has been eaten and in the corner where it was there was the frog n sharks.

i dont think it was the frog, but it could be depending on how big it is. if i had to guess, definitely the sharks over the frog.

What size tank are they? If you could update your aquarium info, it would be helpful to the members.

Thanks everyone for your input.....Its actually been the goldfish that ate the neon Tetras, caught in the act last night......so they are now in a seperate tank till tomorrow when they get a new one....And the shop have agreed to take back the sharks for me in return for neons as I have one lonely little fellow left.
