Hi Everyone,

So I picked up a complete 10G tank from a lady off craigslist and it came with 2 Black Skirt Tetras. I had originally wanted a tank for a betta, but I feel like the tank belongs to the Black Skirts so they are staying as long as they like. They seem kind of lonely in there so I am wondering what other fish I could add in with them. I was thinking of adding 3 more of the same, but would really like to add a couple different kinds if possible. I have read that as long as they are the same basic shape they will probably get along. Anyone have any suggestions of other fish that might get along with my 2 BSTs?

Try some other tetras, danios, or harliqun rasboras (sp?)

You could get some cherry barbs. As school of 3. They are lovely and not to big and should get along well with the B Skirts. Also swordtails, platies and guppies will aswell, although they will breed a lot.... Also a favorite fish of mine is glass catfish they like to school and are so neat!!!!!!!!!! (stick with all peaceful fish like B skirts) Hope this helps!!!!!

I have a ghost catfish, which is what lilFishy is talking about I think. They are almost completely see through
