What kind of fish is this? Tetra?

I have three of these purpul-ish fish that I think might be a type of tetra, but I don't know. I don't know much about fish.

These are one of several species sold as blue tetras.

They were sold to me as Sky Blue tetras. I lost 4 of the 6 I got in the first few days I had them last year. Very pretty fish tho.

they can also be called Kerri tetras, blue emperor tetras, and/or royal tetras

gosh! where is everyone finding them!??! ive been tryin to find them forever!!!!!!!!! ure lucky they are very beautiful fish
