How many tetras in a 10 gallon and still have room for 2 guppies?

How many 1" tetras could i fit in my 10 gallon tank and still have room for about 2 male guppies? If it matters, I am willing to do more frequent water changes if it means i couls have more fish. Thanks In Advance

What kind of tetra are you talking about?

Neon tetras count 1.5 " each so you could have 3 or 4, this would really be pushing the bio load on your tank, you need a school of 6-9, for a healthy school of neons.

Guppies count 2" each so you already have 4" of fish in your 10 gallon...which just doesn't leave much room for more fish.
