Black Skirt Tetra Tips?

I am seriously contemplating getting a school of 5-6 BS tetra's for my 10 gallon, and was wondering what you guys thought of this idea. thanx in advance!

5-6 tetras is about all you can hold, using the 1 inch of fish per gallon thing, This means you would be slightly over stalked if you get 6! Black skirt tetras are schooling fish and need to be in groups of 5 or more! So...your inluck! Hope you enjoy the black skirt tetra, my sister has 6 of them right now and she loves them!
Also if you do get them just make sure you stay on your water changes because it gets dirty quick!

thanks Harley, i do plan on getting the black skirts. I have heard that they like to have open spaces in their tanks, would thins kind of setup be good for them in that case? Thanks.

That's almost the same thing that my sister has! She has a few smaller plants on the empty side though! Good luck with the tetras!
