Alrightly - so after finally figuring out what kind of tetra I had (leftover from my father's tank a few years ago) I finally make it out to get some more. After a quick temp move I kept the tetras in the 10g because they seemed to of calmed down a little bit. Not constantly darting around and sometimes into the substrate (end up gettign stick under a plant, in the gravel and next to the glass). I did end up losing the oldest one so so I ended up picking up the rest of the silver tip tetras my
LFS had (instead of just the four I wanted, got the five). I have a greek ruin theme for the tank - two ruin sets and then a pavlion with an airstone along with about five plastic plants, Hygrophilia I believe. The decorations kind of divide the tank in a "Z" shape, so there is an open area in front and an open area in the back. If I sit very still for about half an hour I can watch the tetras come out, they seem to enjoy swimming through the columns and hide from one another with the plants but ... is there anything I cando to help them feel more comfortable, I'd love for these little guys to come out more so people don't have to sit there and wait just for a chance to see them. There are seven total in the 10g.
