Could someone please tell me if the fish in the pictures below are Rosy Tetras? The pet shop sells them as "Red Flag Tetras". These little guys also resemble a picture in "The Complete Encyclopedia of the Freshwater Aquarium (by John Dawes, Firefly Books, 2001, pg. 200) of Bentos Tetras (Hyphessobrycon bentosi). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The problem is that fish are imported under a common name. And in their original rivers one collection site they are called one thing then two rivers over something similar is called the same thing, but is a different species. I believe, at the very least, your guess at genus to be correct.
