My tank has soap like bubbles coming slightly through the filters. It has gone on for around a week and the fish have not been affected and they are acting normal. Also: how does anyone know how to figure out how many gallons is in a tank?

3 neon tetras (2 female 1 male i think) Minerva, Aprodite, Poseidon
3 Danios (1 female longfin, female normal, male normal) Hera, Hercules, Athena
2 green corys (1 male, 1 female) Hermes, Hermia

there is a calculator on this site to figure out tank volume. as far as the bubbles go i dont know what it could be. as long as you didn't wash it in soap

Sorry for the late response, but it could be the water is coming out of your filter at such a speed that it is making bubbles when the water from the filter hits the water in the tank. Add enough water that the part of the filter is under water and see if it still makes the bubbles, if it does, I have no idea what it could be, except for soap bubbles. If it solves the problem, then great. I hope you understand and it helps.

l x w x h =volume....if I remember correctly. Is there enough water in your tank? What kind of filter are you using?
