Another post from me- 5 of my black skirts swarming 1 and rubbing against?

Hi, sorry for all these posts but my black skirts seem to be doing something new every day! Today I woke up to find them chasing around the only big black skirt in the tank (so she must be a female). I have 6 altogether and I feel so sad for the *girl* who is getting chased soo much. They are following her around like chasing to rub on her side! *She* swims behind the filter intake to try to get rid of the cluster who follow, then stops in a plant because she is probably tired. I dont know what to do I dont have an isolation chamber or anything like that... and I cant travel to a petstore because they are a little out of my way. I think they may be mating/breeding but I see some of the others kindof nip? the female im not sure if they actually are but it seems like it. I dont see any open wounds or torn off fins so Ill pray. Am I right that it is breeding? Will my *female* be okay with all of them chasing her like this or will they chase her to death?? All help is so greatly appreciated.

Hi there.
I also have long fin black skirt tetras and when I see that behaviour you mentioned, I take it as aggression that they are bullying up to that one tetra. Hopefully in time that one will learn to stay away from the others. If its a female, I just dont know, as its hard to tell if mine is a female as well.

I have 2 Black skirt's in my bathroom tank that live with a Butterfly loch, and a Big 5-6 inch Blue Grom and a Albino COry and they all get along.
