I have the API master test kit that includes High pH and Freshwater PH. When I test my water with high I get 7.4 but when I test with just the PH I get 7.8. Which should I be using and why are there two options?

The normal test card for pH only goes to 7.6. The high goes from 7.4 - 8.8

I thought with the API master test kit, the regular Ph goes to 7.6. At least that's all it goes to on my kit. If you're testing 7.6 on the regular Ph and 7.4 on the High Ph it's common to split the difference and just call it 7.5

Thanks.The mid range readings make it difficult because it can be measured with either card.I think I will just go with the High unless my reading seems very low.
