I've had my tank running for over a month now (the first few weeks without fish), and I've been taking a sample of my water to a local pet store that does free testing for everything from pH to nitrites...but I'd like to be able to test more often, and at home. Is there a kit out that that will let me test for everything that I should be testing for?

API liquid test kid is the one most people here use and it is really great.

I use the API master kit as well.

The API master freshwater kit is great and the only thing I've had to get an additional test kit for is kH & GH (water hardness levels). I got those when we got our first cichlids and didn't test for hardness prior and got the API kH/gH test kit for about $6-7 online.
