I've used the Wardley Master kit, currently have the API master kit, and have used the dip strips. What other options are out there for the colorblind people like me. I like the API the best because of their reputation and their thoroughness in testing, but I'll be darned if I can tell the difference between 6.8 - 7.0 - 7.2 without calling SWMBO to id the color match for me. I know the dip strips are less than perfect for quality of test, but at least I could tell the difference in the colors in the neutral range. Whatayagot?

If you're willing to invest a bit more money, there are digital pH readers out there. They cost around £20 here, about the cost of 2 boxes of '5 in 1' test strips.

If you were to get digital ones for all tests though, you may be looking at a small fortune
It may be cheaper to just ask someone else to read the strips for you.
