Clown Tang needs help

I got a small clown tang about 2 weeks ago...i soon noticed it wasn't eating. It looked very healthy at the LFS, and i have read that they can be hard to get to eat at first, but to be persistant and give a variety. I have tried flake pellets, nori sheets on clip, fresh shrimp uncooked, krill, bloodworms, brocoli, lettuce, and celery tops. all i have observed is it picks at the live rock....that was fine for the first week but now i have no growth at all left and its getting quite thin. i have just noticed signs of ICH, he's rubbing and breathing heavy, staying close to the surface. any suggestions?? i need some help

have you tried live or frozen food?

Put it in a QT rank. What I do before buying fish is ask the worker how long the fish has been in the tank and I wouldn't buy it if they just put them in. I would normally buy it if it's been more than a week. The LFS I go to buy fish, quarantines them for about two weeks before setting them up for sale. I still quarantine them before putting it in my tank.

All so, is the clown tang in your 35 gallon? It would be WAY to big for a 35 gallon. The clown tang would grow to about 14 inches and minimum size is 150 gallons, but IMO, I would only put it in a 200 or larger because tangs needs swimming space (especially an active tang like a clown tang) and In a 150 full of rocks, there wouldn't be much space.
