Hello fellow tanksters,

I have had my yellow tang a little over a month. The tank is a little over 2 mo old and all levels are adequate. A few days after he entered the tank he developed red sores on his face and began flashing. My fish master friend recommended a bacterial treatment, which was followed along with changing the water. A couple water/filter changes later his face now looks like someone scratched his face with dental tools and is whiteish. The last few days he has had a loss of appetite and has secluded himself to the top corner of the tank under the filter. Any recommendations? Thanks

If 12 in your profile means 12 gallon tank then you should return that little guy as even a 4 foot long tank is often considered the bare minimum size tank, often a 5 foot long is recommended.
