just wondering what peoples experiences are with this? There's one in one of the tanks I maintain downtown and I've fallen in love with him LOL I want one for my 90

This fish gets big ! Over 18" (45cm) long. How big is the tank you maintain downtown ? How long is your tank ?

The one I maintain downtown is equivalent to about 120 gallons...it's wierdly shaped though.

My own tank is 48 inches long by 18 inches wide by 24 inches tall. A standard 90 gallon. But I can always get a larger tank later on to accomidate for it.... ie I just picked up a 225 for 600 (includes, two heaters, two canister filters, stand, canopy, glass tops and lights) for my arowana.

They are reef safe and usually not aggressive towards other tank mates ... A good choice if you have the room. If you get one, buy a small younger one. That will give you plenty of time to upgrade.

Yea, plus after talking to my local shop they don't ICH as easily compared to other tangs. i.e. Powder Blue
