powder blue tang

I plan to put a Powder Blue in my 100 G tank very soon. Currently I have a pair of true perc clowns. 1 Pebble Butterfly, Dwarf Flame Angel. Before I put the Powder Blue I plan to add a Regal Angel and possibly a Gobby of some sort. Any suggestions or tips before I go through with this plan?

I would be careful. As you add fish, available territories decrease and aggression/stress increases (especially between the angels). The goby sounds like a good idea to me. I think I would stay away from the Regal in exchange for the Powder Blue.

Regal Angels are one of my favorites - they and the powder blues are very delicate. I'd plan on quarantining them for a good bit of time to watch for disease and more importantly, to get them eating something. The Regal Angelfish and Pebble Butterflies (Chaetodon multicinctus) are reported to eat and pick at coral polyps, so may not want them if you plan on getting any corals down the road.

regal angel

I ended up going with the regal. I'm sure you will see the other post of my powder blue having ich.. if not please read and add any help you can. My regal has been doing great for three months now. He eats anything I put in and I really give him a variety of foods from mysis shrimp, marine cuisine, sponge stuff he needs to brine flakes. He even chows on seaweed sometimes. He dominates the tank and hasn't been showed up by the Powder blue tang really as he is a little smaller. I planned it that way with agression levels. His body looks really healthy... at first I think he had parasites but the shrimp gave him a really good cleaning almost everynight. The fire shrimp especially would jump on him and get in his gills. It was wonderful to watch.
