My Swordtail is A killa

Hey guys, i have a sword tail that is a real ******* basically. it keeps eating at other fish and basically killing them.. what should i do?

im in distress lolz

My Swordtail is A killa

Hey guys,

what should i do. i have a really aggressive Sword Tail that pretty much just eats the fins off the other fish that are in my tank.. the gourami thats in there. is like his bi*** and just swims with him...

what should i do to set this bad boy straight?

Hey, pete, yeah swordtails r aggressive, i heard that. is it a male or a female? what is your tank size and how many swordtails do u have? may be u can add some more swordtails of opposite sex. may be it will calm down.....

Sometimes you can give a fish an "attitude adjustment" by removing the aggressive fish to a bowl of tank water and then rearranging the tank plants/decor before putting the aggressor back in. Hopefully the time out of the tank along with the changes to the tank will take away the fish's feeling of being tops on the scale. It doesn't always do the trick, but does work often.

the number of males & females and the number of swordtails over all can contribute to aggression. If you have males and females, it's recommended to have 2 females for each male. If you have only females or males, 3 or more is recommended as they are schooling fish and having just 2 will lead to one always picking on the other.
