Hello all. My swordtail's tail got bitten off! I think it could have been one of my goldfish or the crayfish in my tank. Anyways, I was wondering if it would grow back? I just got him and he was in the tank for only a few hours when it happened.

I can almost garuntee it was the crayfish. They are not good community fish, and should only be kept in aquariums by themselves.
Goldies & swords also should not be kept together.
The tail may repair itself if the would is not too bad. It would be best of you could quarentine him by himself. That way you could medicate IF needed, and keep the water parameters PRISTINE. Good luck.

ya gold fish are cold water fish and swords are trapical so you realy shoulnt keep them together.
and i would recemend always reading the fishlore profile for a fish before you buy it.
