so my new male swordtail has orange eyes. is that normal?

yuppers. depending on the color variation of the fish, the eyes will correspond to match. The color form of this swordtail escapes me at the moment, but I have seen multiple specimens with eyes like that. Usually they're albino.

Yup, as TFA101 said, eyes match the colouration of the fish,and it's totally normal,and nothing to be worried about

In Asia, red eye swords are common. Others call it albino. They come in red velvet or orange single and lyretails. Most kohaku swords here are also red eye.
