In summary I am ordering liertail highfin swordtails in an attempt to breed Koi Liertail Highfin Swordtails. I plan on trying to cross both male koi with highfin females and vice versa.

What combination am I most likely to get the desired result?

If anyone has any input on what genetics are recessive and what are dominant I would appreciate it. If anyone has a website or any other resource I would also be appreciative.

I may have figured out part of how swords pass on color pattern. My baby koi sword is a female but looks like she is going to have the color pattern of the father. At 2 weeks it may be too early to tell what the final color pattern will be though.
