Tryin the Cherries

I got several new fish today. A pair of coral dwarf platys and a pair of cherry barbs. Hopefully they'll all do good. Unfortunately they didn't have any 30g heaters in stock this time but I'll just keep waitin.

Be careful. Cherry barbs arn't at their best in pairs - but can stand it.

Really I thought they were one of few nonaggressive barbs.

They are. I have 6 in my 47 gal community - with Dwarf gouramis, Common hatchets and platys. They only pay attention to each other - occasionally the male chases the females. I have 1 male, 5 female. It's always best to heavily outnumber the male with females I think!
