Not sure about live sand, but liveaquaria.com is pretty good with other stuff. Prices are pretty high, but they are careful with what they ship and know what they are doing.

A little money saving tip - any sand suitable for a saltwater or reef tank when used with live rock will soon become "live" sand.

I don't really know how much I believe the claims of the manufacturers about the life forms surviving in live sand you can buy in bags. These bags of "live" sand can sit on warehouse and store shelves for weeks or months before being used and suffer extreme temperature swings. It's much cheaper to just buy the dry sand and let it become live sand over weeks or months.
