Pulsing Xenia How to control their spread

I got a small frag todayi am placeing it on the top. How can I keep em under control. In my friends tank they Are everyware. I like this coral and I like to keep it. I don't mind new grouth I just don't want it to become a pest. How do you guys deal with this?

You can manually remove pieces after it starts to take over. That's usually a good thing though as you can trade frags with other hobbyists in your area or at the LFS for store credit.

I've seen a tank where the entire top of the "reef" and the back of the glass was covered in it. It was rather impressive.
I kept mine in check the same way as Mike said. I also kept them up on the peaks of rocks which slowed their spread.

How would I do that just buy pulling them or other way?

You will need to get "under" the base of the piece you want to remove...separating it from the rock. Once you get it started, you won't have much trouble pulling it the rest of the way loose. I often just use my fingernail to get it started.

just a question, if you friend has trouble with too much, why would you buy it and not take a frag from your friend? :/
