Very cool. I've had some good luck with mine too. The green actinodiscus mushroom that I originally had about 5 of has sprouted some new shrooms and detached to other places in my nanocube. Cool stuff.

You'll have little baby shrooms all over before you know it lol. My red has split off a whopping 5 babies in the last couple months. The Green striped one just recently spit one out too. Weirded me out the first time. The blob of goo they start out as isn't much to look at, eh.

That's a very pretty shroom you have there Mike.

Huh. My ricordea hasn't done anything yet...I keep hoping it will decide to split one of these days, but no such luck yet!

i really like that mushroom...how big do they get? i think i would like to get a few more easy to care for corals...all i have now are my two green mushrooms. any thoughts on some really cool, yet easy to care for colorful corals?

That particular green actinodiscus mushroom spreads out to be about 4 inches across now when the lights are on.

For easy to care for corals, keep looking into the shrooms, ricordia, zoanthid polyps, etc. I've seen several tanks with only zoanthids in the tank and they looked great. Some zoos are hardier than others though. I really like the mushrooms too.
