What does everyone feed their soft corals?

the only thing in currently feeding my mushrooms, ricordia, and zoes is photoplankton. Looking to find something better and easier to feed. suggestions are appreciated.

Every used Cyclopees (sp?) bars? They are supposed to be loaded with... corally goodness! (I couldnt find exactly what they had in them online , probably misspelling it). Pretty easy to feed, just scrap off a few shaving and dissolve it then add it to the tank. Fish will eat it too but it is so small that your corals should get plenty. Pretty hard to over feed it. Ask about it at your lfs.

You would feed this in conjunction with the phytoplanton. They still need thier greens I think.

I don't directly feed the mushrooms, zoanthinds, xenia and corallimorphs. A couple times a week I do try to squirt a very tiny amount of zoplan (zooplankton) mixed with RO water about an hour after lights out for the acropora, montipora and birdsnest corals... I don't really know for sure if it's helping their growth rates.

I feed my corals phytoplankton and cyclopeeze ! Unless you have a dense population of sps corals then very little is needed---rather try frozen cyclopeeze. In general lps corals eat cyclopeeze, copopods and inverts eat phytoplankton, so it is useful in a refugium. phytoplankton is good for increasing the pod population and therefore indirectly feeding the stoney corals. I use LiquidLife BioPlankton and MarinePlankton to feed soft, lps and sps corals ... OK g2g to work ! LOL
