Will adding a little aquarium salt to my tank kill the snails without hurting my bettas and ottos? If needed I can remove the ottos.

Nope, won't kill them. I have quite a high salinity level in a tiny snail tank. After adding it the next day my snails laid 2 eggsacs. Not sure if its a coincidence but it certainly doesn't hurt them! I wasn't trying to kill them, but I add salt to my main tank and wasn't thinking of it might hurt the snails! :P

This is not good news! I pulled out all of the plants and the big rock out of my tank and did a HOT water HIGH SALT bath , it seemed to kill the snails. So I thought that if I added a little aquarium salt to the tank, it might stunt their reproduction! AHHHH I hate these snails! I guess I am just going to have to starve the tank! I took out about 50% of the water and did a huge gravel vac session, I have killed about 15 snails today!
BTW Spike is ****ed about the whole thing too-- because he is in a cup until I figure this out.
