gold inca snails okay with most fish???

i was thinking about getting a gold inca snail/mystery snail. and i was wondering are they okay with my stock, 1 dwarf gourami, 5 carnidal tetras, 5 black phantom tetras, 1 clown pleco, 3 spotted cories,

I would worry about the tetras and the gourami. They will pick at them and stress them so bad that they will not eat and will just die. They also might try to take off the antenna for a snack.

I agree. I had a golden mystery snail in with a tank of mollies, platies, and danio's. Well my platies would constantly pick on the snail so I had to transfer him to a different tank so he could eat and move freely.
You could try one, but be prepared to have a back up plan in case your fish decide to pick on him.

I tried some in my molly tank and the mollys just won't leave them alone and angels won't leave the adults alone. I have put a baby here and there in some tanks and since I started them out as babies in tanks those seem to be doing well. I actually have them in an angelfish tank and the angels do not bother the snail at all same as guppies. You might consider starting out with little babies and try that. I think it just depends on the fish really and you know they all have different personalities. That is one thing about having MTS LOL you always have another tank in case you need to move something around a bit. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Hmm putting a snail in as a young age Is a really good idea. And about a few days ago I just got a baby ivory mystery snail (about the size of a large pea) I was going to see if he/she would breed with my golden mystery snail. So far no such luck so I think both my snails are the same sex
but thank you! I will try that and maybe finally be able to keep snails with my naughty livebearers!
