So I recently got a few mystery snails and my tank has been much cleaner. However, i am finding a lot of what appears to be snail droppings in the tank. Now are these like earthworm droppings? where they are good for the plants as fertilizer? or should i vac them up. Btw i have a planted tank

Congrats on the new mystery snail. I have a golden one and he's grown a lot in only a month. Snail droppings are so tiny (I've only seen them twice), I didn't know they would have any effect on bioload or as fertilizer. Huh.

snail droppings can be treated like fish droppings - the only thing is that depending on your tank size and how many snails you have and how much they are eating, there may be too many! again, depending on how densely planted you have your tank, you could vac it out or leave it as fertilizer. clear as mud? :P
