My wife is pretty grossed out, but I now know the sex of two snails in my tank.

My golfball-sized inca is a male, and the smaller brown striped one is a female.

It took them at least an hour to be done with it, back in a shaded corner of the tank. I was wondering if I should put on some Barry White or something

Should I expect snails with a mix of some sort (like yellow stripes), or will one of the two colors be dominant?

There is a color program on the applesnail website that should tell you exactly what to look for I have it printed out somewhere around here...very interesting I might add. But don't be surprized if you get a different color than expected (mine did this) you have to keep the grandparents colors in mind too.

LOL mine don't need Barry White they are happy with the flowing sound of the water apparently since I now have hundreds of babies.
