The assassins are here!!!!!

Oh the assassins just arrived!!! I am sooo excited. They are even prettier in person. I have them acclimating in a bowl on my desk just so I can watch them. They are already starting to crawl around. Hee hee. There are 6 of them and somehow six ramshorns of mine got into that bowl with them. Can you say brunch. Insert evil laugh here. Say bye bye to the pesty snails. I'll keep you posted and will get some pics tonight.

They are wasting no time....looks like one is really hungry after his/her trip. Well I can see I am not going to get any work done today. I am either going to have to move the snails to where I can't see them (then I would be going back and forth) or tie myself in my chair.

Is is sad when you get this excited over a snail? Oh maybe I need help worse than I thought!!

Right there with ya, SW! One of the reasons my water changes take so long is because I like to just sit there and look at my fish!

I take full responsibility for the rams because I actually ordered and paid for them when I had puffers. The puffers did not work out for me so of course I then had a snail invasion. Now I did not invite the pond snails (that I remember) but I got them anyway.

Those horrible cookies that I made....well they really do attract snails BIG TIME. So I spent a great deal of time last night putting a cookie in this tank and that tank letting it sit for a bit and pulling it out and getting all the snails off and putting the cookie back in. All those snails went into the assassins new home. I don't know where they were all hiding but OMG at the snails. That reminds me I need to check the cookies for more snails hee hee hee

How are assassin snails? Do you know if they will eat my shrimp or endlers? Do they reproduce quickly?
