Calcium supplements?

I did a calcium test today and discovered my calcium is too low for my snails. I have cuttlebone in their tanks but it doesn't seem to be bringing the calcium up by much. The only calcium supplements I've found have been for saltwater aquariums.

So I ask. Are products such as kent marine liquid calcium safe to use with freshwater snails? And is there a dosage difference for freshwater?
Note: The snails are in their own tank with just java moss.

when i was raising apple snails, i used crushed coral substrate, but i liked to add some calcium tablets as well just to make sure there was enough calcium. the issue with crushed coral is that it does releases the Ca really slowly. it wouldn't hurt to use it tho.
