Snail eggs?

10 gallon tank, 3 guppies, 4 platies, 1 molly, 1 danio, 2 ghost shrimp and 1 other snail. I just got this snail the other day and i looked over at (her?) and i saw a bunch of white dots coming out of the shell. This was the best shot i could get of it but is my snail laying eggs? And if she is, will my other fish eat the eggs? Click the image to open in full size.

They might eat them, yes. I can't tell from the picture if she is or not, but maybe another member could see something I'm missing?

Those are feces; your snail (Pomacea bridgesii) lays eggs above the water line they are in large clusters and are a dull orange or white.

They are actually quite easy to breed all you need is; 20g tank, pH of 7-8, a temp of 75 degrees forethought, a 2.5 inch margin between the water line and the top of the tank. A variety of foods: algae wafers, natural, algae, lettuce, cucumber, zucchini etc. A source of calcium carbonate (I use lizard calcium supplement) and some patients. Of course you would need some more snails, 2 extras should do.

Well, I have a 10g tank but my b-day is coming up and I'm hopefully going to upgrade to a 25-30g. Thanks for the tip I'll be sure to remember it when i get my new tank!

Is that a ramshorn snail? I can't really see what you are calling eggs from that picture. Be careful what you wish for they can take over a tank pretty quick. I remember seeing their eggs for the first time and thinking they were sooo cute. After you have a few hundred they stop seeming so cute. lol

I dont' know what is "proper" but I put a piece of lettuce in my tank last week, about 1 X 3 piece and it was gone in about 2 days. I used a rock to hold it down to the bottom, you can use a rock or a plastic fork-surly many other ideas too

Sound about right (some people blanch the veggies that they put in there tank) Also some algae wafers are also a good addition to their diet as well.
