Hi ppl We are somewhat confused now lol, you may have read that our snails have bred a nd a clutch of eggs are stuck to the tank, well one snail was bought from one shop (THE BROWN ONE) and was told this was an apple snail, The other which IS a golden apple snail was bought from another shop, but yet the clutch of eggs are exactly like the pictures of aMYSTERY SNAILS CLUTCH not that of a golden apple snail, according to the pictures on snail.net can anyone shed some light on this lol

"Mystery snails" and "apple snails" many times are one in the same. Since there are so many different species of snail they simply gave a generic name for all of them. The most common I see in stores is Pomacea bridgesi or sometimes Pomacea canaliculata. Take a look at this website for some in-depth info on those and other types of "mystery" snails. :-)
