If i have trumpet snails do i have to worry about vacuuming the gravel ?

yes you should stil vac the gravel.

The snails will do a good job of churning up your substrate but will not remove solid waste.

The main thing you notice when you vac is the fish poo getting sucked out of the tank. There is no other way to effectively remove this.

You have to change water anyway, so do the water changes as you vac and you won't waste any time.

Snails wont eat fish poo but they do remove algae from glass and ornaments.

A reverse flow undergravel filter helps some too, but still doesn't eliminate the need to vacuum. It's just one of those things we have to do, like brushing your teeth.
