| | Fish Keeper | Black mystery snails - death is a mystery! Picked up 2 black mystery snails today. It was bitterly cold outside and spitting snow. By the time I got home they were dead. Did a 20 minute car ride kill them? I feel bad about it. Looking back it was dumb to bring something home in weather like this.
On the other hand, my plants I got all had snails on them and they are alive and well.
So am I a snail murderer, an accomplice, or innocent? |

| | Fish Keeper | What I really want to know is can 20 minutes without a heater kill a black mystery snail? |

| | Fish Mentor | It may do. I would say it could also have been the amount of water they were i and the quality.
Mine died quickly aswell they are not very hardy for some people.

What i am about to say isnt because i want reputation points although i will accpet them but if u dont no what reputation points are there is a snowflake looking button imbetween the green "online" light and the "report post" mark. If u wanna give anyone reputation points click that button on one of their posts.

P.S. This is all to help you not a bribe to get rep points |

| | Fish Keeper | lol emory, it's okay, we are all pretty helpful anyways =P.
yes rep points are reputation points, if you hover your mouse over the little green squares (under our screen name and star rating to the left) a small bit of text will pop up, the more squares you have the more reputation points you have received, you receive rep points if you are particularly helpful or say something that someone else likes enough for them to click the little snowflake thing lol.
EDIT: it's not a snowflake, it's a balance thing, used for weighing things. (not really anymore lol but about 20 bajillion years ago they were probably pretty common lol.) Last edited by Kayin1470; November 21st, 2008 at 08:41 PM.

| | Fish Keeper | No, I live in Western NC. Nice town called Asheville. (Can't wait to pack my bags and leave it!)
My brother-in-law and his family are in Waikerie. Somewhere in between a desert and oranges.
Since I am a noob on the board do you think that is why I don't have a snowflake to hit? |

| | Fish Addict | I believe that it is a white balance icon. And it appears after you have made 50 posts.
Once you have posted 50 times, you can start giving reputation points. |
