How about another planted tank with a dwarf puffer so you could just drop a few snails in his tank everyday? They are cute looking little guys but are very aggressive. I keep hoping for a snail explosion so I have that excuse.

^Haha, that sounds like a fun idea...anyway, I still have a lot of little snails and that one big snail, but they must be different species because the small ones haven't gotten much bigger, but that pond snail grew very fast. I've crushed a few, but I figure it's futile to try to stop them.

My ramshorn snail grew a lot faster than my pond snails... I do have a ton more pond snails than ramshorn snails though. I'm at the same point you are. I have someone crush them for me or they're just there...

I have a tip for finding ramshorn snails,: I have found that if you have them in a rectangular tank, they will most likely lay their eggs in the corners of the tank, i usualy just take my finger and slide it up the tank corner and remove them as i touch them
