The LFS sold me this guy and the tag said Ivory Mystery Snail so that what he charged me for but in no way is he ivory, he's black and brown with orange spots at the tips of the shell and his body is dark brown and orange with zig zag pattern on shell. but what is he? the clerk was ruff getting him off the glass there is a white spot behind his head and a pull mark with he came out of his shell will he be able to repair himself? here are some picks.

Might be a Japanese trap door snail. I'm not sure, though.

Still have know idea been every where on the net. his shell is like a apple snail he is about 1" and haven't gottten any bigger been 6 weeks, also he buries himself in the sand like a trumpet snail? anybody have a clue?

I have researched it to, but with no succes (kinda hard to search something with no name) but i did gind this, buts its in a different language. I think you should make an account on Apple snail.net for more info.

it looks like a , Paludomus loricatus search this name up on the internet, its a kind of nerite snail, distantly related to the MTS snail
