oh noses, attack of the frisky snails

Hi Im new. My name is sapien and I have a bit of a problem.
Ive been a fish lover for years, got my first goldfish when I was 5.
Ive had tonnes of fish through out the years...
I now have 8 goldfish, from 1 inch to 5 inches. I also have two snails...which leads me to my problem...I discovered that my smaller tank had a leak in it...unfortunately I was a bit late in catching it and the black moore didnt make it, the red cap and snail are doing fine...anyways to my problem...I put the little snail in the bigger tank with a bigger snail and they are mating...
should I move the eggs, which happen to be stuck together in a glob... or should I just make a barrier so my fishies dont eat them?
help?

What kind of snails are they? By saying that they are stuck together in a glob im thinking they are apple snails. You can seal your leaky aquarium with Ge II clear silicone that you can get at any Home Depot. Or you could get a breeder net to hang on the side of the aquarium. Hope this helps.

well, what size is your tank?
do you want tons of snails in your tank?
if you repair the small tank w/ silicone, you could raise the snails in that and then sell the babies to a fish store when they get big enough
