black spots on silver dollars?

My silver dollars are recovering from columnaris and they seem to be doing fine now and are healing great from their fungus, however now I've noticed that some of the silver dollars have these 2 black spots on their sides, closer to their heads/middle body.

Are these natural black spots or could it be a reaction from the medication?

Thanks

Could you post a pic? I know they sometimes have some color variation.

Below is a link that has photos of Silver dollars with differ color variations. Some pics show black dots on body like what you were refering to. I also have silver dollars. My oldest doesn't have black spots on body but the spots on dorsal fin.

I hope this link gives you a peace of mind. They are wonderful fish to have.

I have Silver Dollars. Black spots are natural and they come and go depending on the mood of the fish. When mine are trying to spawn....they really get more black. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Thanks aquarists - I tried getting photos this morning but they won't stay still lol plus I did notice that the spots come and go and not all of the silver dollars have them.

edit: I found this thread which gave me a bit more info:

have you ever seen anything like this?????
