How do I tell the sex of my silver dollars. I have six and the are about3" long. I understand the anel fin has more red or is more pointed or something like that.

Male silver dollars will have some blueish stuff on their fins. Can you post some pics?

Hi the57man
At only 3" it might be hard to tell as they are still fairly young . It wont be long though and you should be able to pick the difference presuming you have both sexes .
My male showed no physical signs of being different but would harass the females . As he got a bit older his throat got red , and his fins have a fair bit more colour on them , as well as a longer anal fin .
