Amano Shrimp breeding

I have a bunch of amano shrimp living in one of my 29g tanks with my guppies. Over the last week I have noticed a few of them are holding, what I can only imagine, eggs under their tails. I was under the impression that these things only breed in brackish environments. Has anyone here bred these things? Does anyone know how long it takes for the eggs to drop... or whatever it is that they do?

Not sure about how long until the eggs hatch, but that's when the plankton will need saltwater to live.

There is a good article from a guy in the UK that was able to breed these shrimp. I have a bunch of amanos (3 of which are berried) but I am fairly certain that the larva will die after a few days in fresh water.

I remember in the article he said do not transfer your female into brackish but move her into an isolated freshwater tank so when she does drop you can suck the larva out and then drop them directly into a full sea salinity tank with no acclimation. The larve should morph into the adult form in 30-90 days depending on feeding and water conditions.
