Sunshine Crab Question

Hi, I'm new here. I'm looking for information on a species wal-mart calls "Sunshine Crab". It's a smallish tan/orangey crab approx 1 to 2 inches wide. It's said on the card that the gender is easy to identify by the fact that only males possess that one huge claw (I'm not sure if this is common to all species or not.) The card also says they eat pellets, frozen fish and things of that nature. I'm interested in keeping one as a pet in a dish with a single crab, but I'd like to find more information on this particular species as I'd like the little fellow to have a good home. I wish I had more description information, but as far as crabs go, they seem pretty about as close to the stereotypical crab as can be. Any information is appreciated, thank you!

They are fiddler crabs. Wal-mart just calls them that because appeals more to kids im guessing, i suggest keeping them in a small tank, the dish that wal-mart has them in is sick, way too small for anything to survive and thrive in. The crabs are master climbers and escape artists, they will get out every chance they can. They need access to both water and land, in a regular fish tank 3 or 4 inches of water is plenty, they love to climb get him rocks or cliffs to play on. They molt every so often and will hide until their next shell comes in strong. They are vulnerable after they molt, my female dug herself a cave about 2 inches under my gravel and didn't hardly come out for a week. They eat just about anything, not picky eaters at all. If have any other questions let us know.

Most aquatic crabs need some land and Fiddler crabs are one of them. They do really well in paludariums, here is a link to Dusko Bojic's wonderful Paludarium, I am thinking of modeling all my tanks on ideas based from his tanks.
