need to turn crush coral

I have a medium crushed coral base with coral band shrimp, 20 blue crab, 20 red crab, couple emerald crab, 20 turbo, 2 cleaner clam, 10 nassaruis snail. Getting red/purplish algae on the crushed coral and looking to get a fish or invertebrate to help make it look cleaner. I have been doing 10% water change and filter change but still have it. What is a good item to get? thanks

Sand sifting star fish or a sand goby ,, you have a lot of CUC , emerald crabs when they get hungry will eat corals and possibly fish if they can get hold , if there all still feeding you must be seriously over feeding your fish ,,, how long has your tank been setup for ?? could possibly be cyno which new tanks go through , ,,,

Pump up your skimmer a bit. Whenever I see nuisance algae in my rank, I'll pump up my skimmer until I have to clean the cup once a day. (I was skimming so hard when I had GHA that I clean my cup 3x a day) All so reduce your feeding a little bit.

My emeralds are fine. They shouldn't be able to kill fish since they're so small. My biggest one was over 1.5 inches and it never touches any corals/ fish.

I have had the tank for 4yrs. The fish do get over feed (kids feed when I am out of town). Cut their feed down to alternate between flake and 1/2 cube every 3 days and spot feed coral every week (mix of cube and flake). Tank is more clear now but still getting standing sediment and have to hand turn the crush coral.
