Do your Peppermint Shrimp hide?

I've fallen in love with these cute little guys. But I'm a little worried about what I'm reading. If I'm never going to see them, why would I want them? My question is:

Do your peppermint shrimp hide?

Mine rarely hides, and is very active. It also eliminated any trace of aiptasia in my tank!

Mine usually hide, but that was mostly when i still had my Wrasse. He kept picking on them trying to taste them. Now that the wrasse is gone they are fairly active. They still prefer a nice dark rock overhang then being out and about though.

Mine destroyed my Aptasia too.

Hmm. A vote for each. I think I'm going to get them anyway. Once I get the money for the tank and it's cycled of course.
